Double up a large sheet of aluminum foil; turn up the sides to create a pan. Put 1 1/2 to 2 cups in base. Add spices to the sauce as desired (e.g. minced onion, chopped garlic, garlic salt and one tablespoon of pepper). Preheat sauce for 5 mintues on grill over a medium fire of hickory chip coals. Add whole doves or dove breasts, lightly salted to sauce, and pour 1/2 to 1 cup of sauce over the meat. Cover with aluminium foil. Grill for 10-12 minutes. Turn doves, spoon over sauce, re-cover and grill again for 5 to10 minutes.
